What To Expect

Services

Sunday - 10:30 AM Worship Service

We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We want the atmosphere to help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed in a space created for healing from a broken world. One that will bring you a sense of HOPE. We also invite you to stay for lunch in Our Gathering Place following the service.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics (single, married, kids, single parent, divorced, widowed, spouse attending alone), you're welcome at FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve. Feel free to use our Parents and Me room for infant calming, Kids Club (3-8ish after worship) or your child can sit in the aisles coloring or playing with toys. {Please, no talking toys or ones with sound effects.} Thank you.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound, Bible based preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the Biblical text being addressed by Chaplain Che' Weber (ordained by the Assemblies of God) that will bring us HOPE. She works to apply the message in a way that we can apply it to our lives today. Think of it like a class! Sometimes there are questions, group input or actions to be taken. It is not boring!

Biblical Teaching

Here at FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
